Richard Lubert

GE Energy, one of General Electric’s largest operating businesses, provides global power and water solutions for customers and communities.  With 100,000 employees and contractors in all regions of the world, GE Energy manufactures, supplies and services equipment, power plants, and provides energy and water solutions to meet every type of customer .  GE Energy owns 1000+ facilities worldwide and annually performs services at thousands of customer sites, from refineries to offshore platforms to power plants.

Rich Lubert is the General Manager of Environment, Health, Safety and Security.  A native of Schenectady New York, Rich has a BS from Purdue University, a JD from Union (Albany) Law School, and an MBA from Columbia University.  He has worked for GE for 28 years in a variety of roles, including Legal Counsel, Human Resources, Sourcing and EHS.  Married with two children, Rich works from Schenectady when he is not traveling to visit customers, government agencies, communities in which the company works, or in Energy's own facilities.

Rich has been recognized on numerous occasions within GE, winning Leadership Awards for EHS and Security excellence as well as assisting customers in achieving EHSS excellence in their own operations.  He is also active in the community, having been recognized for his volunteer efforts in a variety of programs.
