Wise graduated from International Insurance Studies of Central University of Finance and Economic with bachelor’s degree in 1996 and obtained the Master degree of Insurance and Risk Management in London CASS Business School with distinction in 2003.
Wise joined Willis from March 1997 and has been experiencing the Willis Beijing Representative office, Willis JV in China and Willis Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd. During the period, Wise is mainly responsible for the major commercial account, energy business and reinsurance. Currently, Wise is the Deputy Managing Director of Willis China in charge of Energy, Construction, Beijing Branch and Tianjin Branch.
Wise has been working in the brokerage industry in his all professional career and is the first group of insurance broker certified by CIRC. Wise has over 14 years of experience in respect of client servicing especially on energy projects and been regarded as one of the most experienced energy broker in China. Wise has led most important offshore oil & gas development projects in China, for instance, the largest offshore oilfield project (COPC Bohai Bay phase II) and the first offshore deepwater project (Husky Liwan 13-1 gas field project) as well as a number of CNOOC offshore development projects such as Dongfang, Wenchang, Bozhong, Bonan, Chunxiao, Lvda, Nanpu, Panyu projects. In the mid and downstream energy sector, Wise leads his team to provide the brokering service for Fujian Refinery and Ethylene project, Sinopec Sabic Tianjin Ethylene Project and a series LNG terminals including Fujian LNG, Shanghai LNG and Zhuhai LNG. He is highly conversant with bridging the service team with the project partners and facilitating the communication and delivery.
