Master of Science in Industrial Administration (M.B.A.) ,  Graduated at the Krannert Graduate School of Management,    Purdue University. One-year intensive program.                             

Industrial Engineer. Graduated from the Buenos Aires    National University, March 1982.

 WORKING EXPERIENCE:

YPF S.A.:   Where I currently work, since October 2008

Procurement Manager Downstream. Responsible for the procurement of  products and services for  all YPF Refineries, YPF Service Station chain  and the logistic terminals and facilities of the company. Responsible  for contracting the logistics to provide fuel and lubricants to the Argentinean retail market. Aprox 2000 million dollar spent per year, manager of a team of 100 people.

Procurement Manager Exploration & Production. Responsible for procurement  and contract negotiation for drilling and production operations for on shore and off shore. Responsible for the contract renegotiation strategy, as a result of the 2008 – 2009 international crisis. Identification of  cost reduction opportunities in products and services, using a global vision and best practices. Annual purchases of  approximately  2300 million dollars. In charge of 70 people located in the Bs As office and two main oil areas.

ESSO S.A. Petrolera Argentina  (subsidiary of Exxon Corp.):

December 1985 – September 2008.

South Cone Procurement and Contracting Manager. Responsible for purchasing and contracting products and services required by the Marketing and Staff Departments of the Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay Esso affiliates. Responsible for the purchasing strategies in these countries and the interaction with internal users and suppliers.
