CEEC Brings Zhejiang’s First Gas-Fired CHP Plant Online

China Energy Engineering Group Co. Ltd. (CEEC) put Zhejiang Province’s first gas-fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant into commercial operation on Monday, the company said on Tuesday.

The first phase of the plant required investment of RMB 1.48 billion ($232.42 million) and consists of a single gas turbine unit with installed capacity of 350 megawatts

CEEC broke ground on construction of the plant on December 1, 2011, and has been testing it since June 30. Two subsidiaries of CEEC designed and built the first phase.
