China to Step Up Audits of Major Oil and Gas Projects

China may expand auditing of major oil and gas projects after a government investigation into the RMB 142.2 billion ($22.54 billion) construction of the second West-East Gas Pipeline (WEP II) revealed several irregularities, an academic told Interfax on Thursday.
