On Jun. 17th, the SHEER hydrogenation technology package developed by SINOPEC Guangzhou Company, SINOPEC Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals, SINOPEC Luoyang Engineering Company successfully passed the technology appraisal by headquarters’ R & D department. The technology package was applied in SINOPEC Guangzhou Company’s 2 million ton/year diesel fuel hydro-upgrading unit, reducing 4.56% of investment, 44.85% of fuel consumption.
SHEER hydrogenation technology package and industrial application project developed the hydrogen cracking (upgrading) technology that only sets up the start-up boiler, lowering down industrial investment and operation costs; developed the partial self-heating hydrogenation start-up method, minimizing heating demand from outside during heating operation and reducing the load of the start-up boiler; achieved efficient application of high temperature high pressure counter flow heat transfer technology, indirect online antifouling and fouling removal technology, micro hydro-cyclone hydrocarbon amine removal technology and new reactor component technology.
