SINOPEC Film Grade Polyester Chip Debut in American Market

On May 31st, 2013, 568.4 ton film grade polyester chip produced by SINOPEC Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company was transported from Shanghai to Peru under the operation of SINOPEC EAST CHINA Chemicals Sales Company. This is the first time that SINOPEC film grade polyester chip products are sold to American market.

In April 2012, SINOPEC EAST CHINA Chemicals Sales Company Nanjing Sales Department learnt that a major polyester film company in South America will have new facilities put into operation in the second quarter of 2013. So Nanjing sales department decided to make South America a major business target and took proactive methods to contact clients and promote products. Nanjing Sales Department worked closely with Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company, recommending the most suitable products tailored for clients’ manufacturing plants to help clients achieve the utmost productivity and benefit with the lowest cost. They have also designed special export packaging for clients. Meanwhile, as the products are differentiated products, to guarantee the preciseness of products and packaging, Nanjing Sales Department assigned person in charge to track down production process, and linked up production, delivery, logistics, client’s start-up time seamlessly. After one year’s preparation, EAST CHINA Chemicals Sales Company signed the export contract with clients in April and completed export in May. (Sinopec, edited by Topco)
