SINOPEC’s Outdated Cracker Revamping Set Examples for the World

Two outdated crackers in Yangzi Petrochemical and Maoming Petrochemical were revamped and reached world leading level in terms of operation cycle, thermal efficiency and other major economic targets. These two cases set examples for the year’s outdated cracker overhaul for better efficiency program. On July 18th, entrusted by NDRC, experts from NDRC, enterprises and universities invited by SINOPEC and China National Petroleum and Chemical Network tested and accepted the program.
