Sinopec Refining Technology Yields Green Made-in-China Products

On November 3, 2700 tonnes of mixed xylenes from the newly built 1 million tonne/year catalytic reforming unit of Sinopec Anqing Company were loaded on the vessels for market delivery.

This marks the successful commercial application of the FHDO selective hydrogenation technology to remove olefin in mixed xylenes in China for the first time. The technology was developed by Sinopec Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals.
