Petrochina Cuts South China Ex-Works Isomer-MX Price by Yuan 100/Mt, Or 1.1%

PetroChina cut its ex-works offer for isomer-grade mixed xylenes in South China by Yuan 100/mt, or 1.1%, to Yuan 8,900/mt effective Wednesday, market sources said Thursday.

The revised price is equivalent to $1,203/mt on an import parity basis.

The company last adjusted its offer on November 27, raising it to Yuan 9,000/mt from Yuan 8,900/mt.

PetroChina sells isomer-MX in South China through subsidiary Guangxi Petrochemical.
