China has emerged as the world's third-biggest LNG importer and second-biggest LPG importer. The growth in LPG and LNG trade increases the demand of carriers and shipping service. Though the weak global demand and Chinese economic decline could restrain the growth in energy consumption, which are reducing international trade growth, Chinese energy needs will keep a reasonable growth in coming years, particularly in clean energy and industry requirements, such as natural gas and LPG. The boom of LNG and LPG market in China are revealing a bright perspective of future. It formed the bedrock of the 4th Topco Liquefied Gas Carriers Conference(TopcoLGC 2016)taking place on September 21-22 in Shanghai China.
LGC event is the largest of its kind in China. Last year attracted over 240 people to attend. There will be more than 300 delegates from all over the world to participate in the LGC 2016. The event will discuss a number of issues surrounding the market development, latest technical innovations, ship financing, HSE concerns, market entry qualifications, and chartering certainties. These issues will be discussed at the backdrop of the world LNG/LPG/LEG industry evolvement and the fleet expansion.
